Having tackled the Horn successfully, we set out to explore Uummannaq fjord. The whole team had a go at Uummannaq mountain (Islands in the Sky), but a twisted ankle prevented Ian from the final climb. Then Clive and Angela supported Ian and Tom in a Tillman-like approach to Ivnarssuaq Great Wall (The Incredible Orange), while Jacob and Peter stayed on Ikerasak and climbed Umanatsiaq (Flake or Death). Ian, Jacob and Peter made a final climb on Nugssuaq (That Sinking Feeling) before it was time to head back to Aasiaat and home. Clive described life in Ikerasak, the village base for part of our time in the fjord.
